Abu Dhabi Desert Experience

Have you ever been to the desert? I had the opportunity to experience it for the first time during a desert safari tour while staying in Dubai. Typically, I prefer destinations by the beach or in the mountains, but I decided to try something new.

I stayed at the Luxury Collection Hotel Al Wathba, just an hour's drive from Abu Dhabi City. The hotel complex is absolutely stunning, with a meticulous attention to local details that adds to its beauty. One of my favorite aspects was the enchanting fragrance of flowers that permeated the resort.

You might wonder what activities are available in a desert spa resort, but there is an abundance of options: desert walks, quad tours, wellness treatments, sports, horse riding, and exclusive dinners amidst a horse ranch. My highlight was the BBQ dinner in the desert, set under a canopy of stars and accompanied by a bonfire. It was truly a dreamlike experience.

This new adventure was thoroughly enjoyable, and I am grateful to the wonderful team for their exceptional hospitality. It was refreshing to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life for a few days. I loved every moment of it.
