Spain: Sevilla
A city to fall in love with
Over time, I've made a list of destinations that I would like to see during my stay in Portugal. And that includes Seville. Because I live on the border to Spain, this is a very good option to explore Seville.
So this morning I went 1.5 hours south from Tavira.
Welcome back to civilization. Halleluia. The traffic is absolutely crazy. Everyone drives as he likes to and that on sometimes five-lane road tracks. Wait .. what, did I say tracks? Which tracks? They are also completely overrated, right? Close your eyes and just cross the chaos. True to the motto: the survival of the fittest. I was really happy that I wasn't the driver lol. I noticed again how much I got shielded from the outside world by working in a resort. Its like living in a bubble. You completely lose contact with the outside world.
At a pleasant 35 degrees, we started our sightseeing tour at the Gold Tower, we continued to the promenade, to the cathedral, past the theater, past la Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza (bullring), then to the Jardines de Catalina de Ribera and finally into City center.
One thing is clear: you won't get bored in Seville. This city has so much to offer. From numerous restaurants, shops to culture, there is something for everyone here. Beautiful city and definitely a must-go!
