As a skiing instructor, I prioritise proximity to the lifts and mountains while also valuing easy access to the city center for evening outings. This is one of the reasons why I chose to stay at the beautiful Hotel Stadt Wien. It is ideally located just a 5-minute walk from the gondola, city center, and the picturesque lake—an excellent location.

I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of the hotel. The facilities are modern and impeccably clean. The food is homemade, fresh and delicious, and the rooms are spacious and inviting. The spa was a highlight, particularly the heated pool where we enjoyed swimming outdoors while it was snowing, followed by a relaxing sauna session—truly a dream experience.

What stood out most was the exceptional service provided by the hotel team. As a family-run establishment, Hotel Stadt Wien exudes warm hospitality. The staff was incredibly attentive, even remembering my breakfast preferences and serving them without me having to request them. It’s the attention to detail that makes a difference.

I also appreciated the hotel’s commitment to sustainability and animal welfare. They minimise plastic use and maintain a playground for children, along with a small petting farm featuring rabbits, sheep, and chickens. It’s a joyful space for both kids and adults.
